I was officially offered my fiancee's (fiance? Expert Level Girlfriend?) father's 1949 Ford Custom Deluxe, so I'll be taking stewardship of it since he's lost interest in the project. I'll snag some pictures soon but it's 1) brown 2) has a 100hp flathead V8, 3) manual transmission and 4) dual spotlights. Also, I bought a Hamilton Khaki and wore it for two days before I realized the crown doesn't screw down correctly, so now it's off to warranty repair hell for 6 weeks.

Sounds like an awfully cool car to lose interest in.
The Hamilton Khaki is a cool watch.

Not sure if want. Also, it's probably getting done like the Willys - seat belts, disc brakes, and maybe some Dynamat.

Really just time and interest. He did buy a bunch of awesome period add-on parts for it though, and he does regularly start it.
